Alfred Molina was born 27th May, 1953 in London to a Spanish waiter and Italian housekeeper. He was educated at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. Alfred now lives in Los Angelese, CA, with his wife Jill Gasgoine. In 1998 he was nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award for his performance in "Art". In 2004 he was again nominated for a Tony Award for his role as Tevye in "Fiddler On The Roof". He was also nominated for the Drama Desk Award for Most Outstanding Debut Performance for "Molly Sweeny", and received a Theater World award. Alfred was paid $3, 000, 000 for his work in "Spider man II", and $2,500 per week for his appearence in "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
