As mentioned, PRID offers training programs in various
levels and ascertain the skills of its members through the
evaluation programs after each prerequisite level.

Basic Sign Language Course deals with learning the signs of basic vocabularies in daily
conversation.

Intermediate Level
is the continuation of the Basic Level.

Level I
includes the study of signs used in educational and
vocational rehabilitation

Level II emphasizes learning the signs of medical, religious and
legal terminologies.

Level III
and Practicum
provides skill in reverse interpreting and signs n the
performing arts.
Opportunities to interpret in different settings
are also provided on this level.
Trainees who finished the level are sworn in as
full pledged interpreters.
Inevitably, the deaf persons mingle with the
hearing people all his life. However, it is a fact that not
everybody may understand his language. Thus he needs the
assistance of an interpreters in any of the following
settings:
