Updates
New fan fiction or art updates are placed here. Any changes to the site are placed here too. Updates from previous weeks are archived in a sub-section called "Past Updates" to track the site developments. Readers are allowed to comment on each update so as to help Steel & Silk improves its reading pleasure.

The Passion
All fan fiction are kept here and categorized alphabetically by the authors' names and by two types of fics: co-authored and round-robin fics. Readers will have to log in or sign up to post a feedback after reading the story.

Artistic Views
All fan art are placed here. Movies galleries which include pictures or scans from the X-Men movies are also placed here. Readers are encouraged to give feedback to artists on their fanarts. Readers do not have to log in to post a feedback.

Dialogues
Interviews from Steel & Silk's writers are kept here. Readers have the pleasure to learn more about their favourite writers and artists. They can also pose questions or recommend any writer or artist to be interviewed to the Webmistress. Writers are also welcome to contribute to our couple's diaries, namely Logan's Journal known as Wild Wolverine and Marie's Diary known as Going Rogue. Collections of funny anecdotes, quotes, opinions, etc about the couple are also placed here along with dialogues that involve them together in movies and comics.

Tributes
This is a section that gives tributes to the people behind the scenes - to those that made this site possible and FREE! A little history on how Steel & Silk started is also told.

These are recommended links of other fan sites categorized accordingly. Steel & Silk, however, does not claim responsibility for the contents of the sites. Readers are also allowed to submit their sites to Steel & Silk.

Feedback on Stories
She reserves the right to delete or reject any feedback which may be vulgar or are in the forms of flames from readers. Flames ARE NOT constructive feedback. Flames are reviews demeaning the author's or artist's work and not intended to improve the creator's work. They are not accepted. She also has the right to ban any reader that are repeat offenders in giving inappropriate feedback.

Writers' and Artists' Copyrights
All stories and artwork belong to their respective writers and artists. Plagiarism and reproducing any part of another person's work without his or her written permission first IS NOT allowed. If anyone is found to do so, he or she will be placed in the HALL OF SHAME.

The design of the site belongs to Steel & Silk and is done in partnership with White Witch. DO NOT reproduce the design elsewhere. Again, if found to do so, the offender will be placed in the HALL OF SHAME. The design of the respective databases also belong to Steel & Silk. They have been customized to suit the uses of Steel & Silk.

All fan art images produced as the header for each page on Steel & Silk belongs to Steel & Silk and were made by White Witch. No reproduction of the images are allowed unless given permission by the Webmistress or White Witch.

For writers, before submitting your fan fiction, you are advised to rate your stories appropriately. Please note that there ARE young readers on Steel & Silk so we hope you rate your story responsibly.

For readers, especially YOUNG READERS (under 17), please note the rating of any story before reading. Steel & Silk will not be held responsible if you fail to do so and stumble upon adult materials.

Therefore please follow the rating guide closely:

G - All ages of readers are allowed
PG - Parental guidance recommended for young readers
PG-13 - Parental guidance: not suitable for readers under 13
R - Not suitable for readers under 17. Contain adult materials that suggest violence, sex and horror.
NC-17 - Only mature readers above 17 are allowed. Contain explicit adult materials like violence, sex and horror.

Reader's Etiquette

Writers always appreciate feedback from the readers - that is YOU! Readers to Steel & Silk are always encourage to give a feedback to every story or art that they appreciate. However, readers should always give constructive feedback and NOT flames, criticisms and especially vulgarities. Please remember that many of these stories and arts are done for free. Writers and artists do them at the expense of their time and efforts for YOUR viewing pleasure. So always be nice and give constructive feedback to help the writers and artists improve themselves.

Readers are also encouraged to check the ratings of the story and report any form of abuse from stories, artwork, or feedback from other readers.

Readers also have to receive written permissions from the respective writer or artist if they wish to host the person's work elsewhere. However, Steel & Silk will not be responsible for any negotations between the reader and the writer or artist regarding this.

Writer's & Artist's Etiquette

For quicker publishing of stories or artwork on Steel & Silk, Steel & Silk advises that during submissions, writers and artists must follow the format given out closely. Please pay particular attention to the story rating to ensure that you do not offend anyone. Please also note that Steel & Silk DO NOT ACCEPT fan art that are pornographic in nature.

Writers and artists should not submit their works directly to the Webmistress. All submissions are to be done via the mailing list or via this site.

Writers and artists are also encouraged to make sure that their stories and arts are free from errors such as correct spelling and grammar or the right shade of colors, etc. Steel & Silk will not be responsible if you are offended by many readers who tell you that you've mispelt "Rogue" as "Rouge" - which often occurs. So be careful!

Writers and artists are also encouraged to have an open mind when receiving feedback from readers to improve themselves.
