411.1 SPECIFICS.

1. The purpose of this award is to select the DeMolay who best typifies the all-around image of a Representative DeMolay at home, in school, at church and in the community.
2. See General Rules, Section 1.
3. Each regional winner is automatically eligible for the state competition. It is assumed that each region will conduct its own runoff.
4. No observers will be permitted.
5. Five judges, to consist of the four Regional Deputies and an honored Master Mason, will interview each candidate.
6. A list of 10 questions will be asked of each candidate. With each judge permitted to ask two questions. Other comments may follow.
7. It is recommended that each candidate's interview not exceed one hour. However, this will be at the judges' discretion.
8. There will be no grace period. If the competitor is not at the assigned room at the designated time, it will constitute a forfeit unless an excuse has been received and approved by the Director of Competitions prior to the competition.
