There will be a ritual judges certification seminar on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Springfield Masonic Lodge, 7001 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22150. The seminar will begin at 8:30 AM and will last approximately 5 hours. Morning refreshments and a light lunch will be provided to attendees, courtesy of Northern Region DeMolay.
This seminar is designed to provide individuals interested judging ritual competitions a basic understanding of the "Mid-Atlantic Tournament of Champions" policies and procedures, which dictate the way in which Virginia DeMolay ritual competitions are executed. Those who complete the seminar are certified to judge DeMolay ritual competitions in Virginia, and at the Mid-Atlantic Tournament, which is usually held in September of each year.
Anyone is eligible to be certified as a ritual judge, including Active and Senior DeMolays, Advisors, Parents, and members of other Masonic organizations.
