How to not hack into Hotmail
Some people are intelligent - others are not.
Here at [cwols] HQ, we wanted to know exactly
what percentage of people are stupid. After much
deliberation, we decided to experiment using the
Internet as our test-bed. We set up a simple webpage,
detailing to any casual visitor how to hack into
Hotmail. The following (in grey) is what we wrote:
Step 1.
First, you must already own a
Hotmail account. To get one go to Hotmail.com.
Then login to your account and create a new message
with the Subject as "chng_psswrd" (without
the inverted commas).
Step 2.
In the body of the message type
the following code, as it appears below, making
all necessary changes:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<44FF-Server_018::Pass+?><Victim's
hotmail address omitting '@hotmail.com'>
<Server_16-law.15.hotmail-><*Your* hotmail
address omitting '@hotmail.com'>
Newpass+!=<*Your* Password for *your* hotmail
address>
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Include all the above <>'s
and only make changes to the things in italic.
You must use YOUR password to change it, otherwise
it won't work (see below). It will only change
the password if your hotmail address and the password
given in the message tally.
Step 3.
Now send the above to server_018@hotmail.com.
(There is an underscore [ _ ] between the server
and the 018! Don't forget it, otherwise you'll
get a bounced message.)
Step 4.
You're finished! It should take
±20 mins for the server to respond. It
only works if your Hotmail account and password
tally, if they don't then server_018@hotmail.com
automatically forwards the full message to abuse@hotmail.com.
If they realise what's going on they'll probably
delete your account immediately. So don't make
*any* mistakes! There you have it! You've hacked
into Hotmail, and cracked someone's password!
Now you can login to their account!
And finally, please *read the
legal disclaimer*:
Legal Disclaimer:
If you haven't already realised, the above is
a complete hoax and the author accepts no responsibility
for anything that happens due to the above. Sorry
for getting your hopes up, but it's very immoral
to try and hack into Hotmail and I think you should
stop trying immediately. Anyone who *is* gullible
enough to send a mail to the above address will
have their password changed by me, to give them
a taste of their own medicine! Heh-heh, I'm so
evil!
Most (intelligent) people would
realise that sending their password to an unknown
account on the basis of what they read on some
website is not a good idea. Despite this, hundreds
of people did and the server_018 account was soon
full of people's user names and passwords - around
20% of all visitors to the webpage went on to
send their passwords to us.
If this wasn't enough, many people
still prove exactly how stupid they can be. They
don't read this page properly and send us emails
informing us that the server_018 account doesn't
exist anymore, and then ask us to help them hack
into someone's account. We usually string them
along, telling them that the page had an error
in it, and if they try again it will work perfectly.
Highly entertaining.
So we are delighted to say that
our experiment was a success (if a little cruel).
We now have scientific proof that one fifth of
all Internet users are stupid.
1) I was reading this on the internet, and its
clear the best way is the following: (it works
as well)
The hotmail password retrieval program is an automatic
process, and therefore by sending an email to
the server containing a certain code, you can
find out almost any password.
Email 'html_passw_server@hotmail.com' with the
subject set as "FORGOT_PASSWORD" - making
sure its in capitals, and no speech marks.
In the main body of the text write
the following:
-login-mass42?+forgot=<(your
email here)
-pass=?328=<(your password here)
-retreive-mass42_pass=<(victims email here)
You will receive a message saying that there
